Active Aging is a relatively new term that has sprung up in the last decade or so. The National Seniors Council breaks it down into its simplest terms: it is a strategy to maximize the quality of life and well-being of seniors. Springdale Parks and Recreation has been a huge advocate of active aging. We offer numerous older adult programs, classes, luncheons and even have a Senior Lounge dedicated to those who are 62 and older.
Mark your calendars for this year’s Active Aging Week at the Springdale Community Center. Let Springdale Parks and Recreation Department and Active Aging Week help you “Explore the Possibilities”.
